Dbanj in Debt Scandal
These are indeed not the best times for Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D'Banj. As a matter of fact, the posture and image of the entertainer who is one of Nigeria's top earners in the music industry belies the report that he in a mess of over money.

MindHub Technologies is claiming D'banj is owing it the sum of $240,000 and another N15 million.
The Koko Master, who has not denied his indebtedness to the company, was said to have issues post-dated cheques to the company with the expectations that the cheques were honourable. To the disappointment of
MindHub Technologies, the cheques were bounced.
MindHub Technologies contacted its lawyers to handle the matter with D'banj. Efforts to retrieve the debts have only yielded little, as he has only paid N8.6 million from the N15 million while a single penny has not been paid from the $240,000.
The letter addressed to him reads: "We act as Solicitors to MINDHUB TECHNOLOGIES LTD (hereinafter called "OUR CLIENT"), and on whose instruction we write you this letter in the manner stated hereunder.
"It is our brief that sometime in
January 2013 in Lagos, you signed a Personal Guarantee/Memorandum of Undertaking with our client wherein you agreed/undertook to pay our client the investment fund of 100,000,000.00k (One Hundred
Million Naira Only) given to D KINGS MEDIA LIMITED by our client, should the latter default in payment of the debt. The said debt is made up of Nigerian and United States of America's currencies."
The case is already in a Lagos high court and due for hearing. It has been almost impossible for months to serve D'banj because he was outside the country. Now that he is back, he is expected to be served any moment from now.
